Advanced Aussie Rules.

Official Advanced Aussie Rules

Semi-historical game. All rules discussions in regards to exceptions and stipulations to the rules below should take place in the forums before a new game starts and if absolutely necessary on the grounds that something is deemed to be game breaking, in the forums between sessions.

Diplomacy and Intelligence.
1. No war until Danzig, unless Via event. ie: Italy/Albania, Japan/China
2. No allying of minors unless via event, unless exceptions have been made during rules discussion pre game start. ie:Hungary at Czechoslavakia partitioning event.
3. Any unhistorical DOW's or alliances with the following countries, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Switzerland, Brazil and Tibet will result in the base USA and USSR war entry dates being pushed forward or back 6 months respectively, unless an aggreement has been made between the respective powers. ie: A Japanese attack on Tibet will push USA and USSR war entry forward 6 months to July 1st 1941. An allied alliance with Brazil will push the USA and USSR war entry back 6 months to July 1st 1942.
4. Military access can only be used when at war with a common enemy. However keep it realistic. No entire American and British armies fighting in Russia ect ect.
5. You are not allowed to join an alliance to soley get blueprints and then leave.
6. No one may influence a human controlled country unless requested by the player of that country.
7. No one may attempt to coup a human controlled country as this intelligence action is bugged.
8. No one may attempt to kill ministers or leaders of a country they are not at war with.

Germany
1. Must re-occupy the Rhineland as it is considered gamey to deny the allies they're gearing.
2. Does not have to accept historical outcome from Anscluss or Munich Treaty events.
3a. If they offer historical M/R pact, USSR must accept.
3b. If they offer partition Poland only, USSR does not have to accept.
3c. If the Historical outcome is offered, hence accepted. Then the base DOW date for Germany against the USSR is January 1st 1941 unless a later DOW date is agreed apon by the respective powers.

Italy
1. May ally Germany after Ethiopia, but no military units are allowed to be stationed in each others countries until after Danzig.
2. Albania and Ethiopian wars must be concluded in a timely manner.
3. Is allowed to realease Ethiopia and Libyia as puppets, but may not station any more then a small garrison in each pre Danzig. ie: 12 to 18 divisions.

Japan
1. Base war entry is January 1st 1941. However should the USA refuse to trade a minimum of 30 of each resources for 30 supplies, Japan may DOW earlier.
2. Japan must supply all it's units unless at war with a common enemy of it's puppets. ie: Japan can station troops in Manchuria when Japan and Manchuria is at war with Nationalist China, and Manchuria will pick up the supply bill.
3. Japan may choose to attack Russia at the Khalkin Ghol event, but it was a border skirmish and a peace settlement must be reached in a maximum time frame of 6 months.

United Kingdom
1. The RN, RAF and British army must be supplied by the United kingdom except for starting units that have a direct supply network to a nearby UK puppet. No exploiting France or allied minors, United Kingdom should be able to trade it's resources for supplies and supply it's entire armed forces anyway, so no excuses.
2. Must ally Poland when the event fires. No British, French or commonwealth troops are to be stationed in Poland.
3. All Commonwealth (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sth Africa ect ect) forces must remain in they're country until Italy joins the Axis or January 1st 1940. ie: If Italy joins the axis on 2nd of March 1938, then Commonwealth forces can be moved out of they're home territories on the 3rd of March 1938.

USSR
1. Base war entry is January 1st 1942.
2. Must accept bitter peace if the event fires. If Russia has played badly enough to have the event fire, then it is unfair to deny the Axis they're victory for good play.
3a. If Germany offers the Historical Molotov/Ribbentropt pact, Russia must accept.
3b. If Germany offers the partition Poland only event, then you can refuse to accept.
3c. If Germany Chooses not to make a deal, then USSR's base war entry goes forward 12 months to January 1st 1941.

USA
1. Base war entry is January 1st 1942.
2. America does not have to accept lend lease shipments to either the UK or USSR.
3. No exploiting the Phillipines or Liberia. All USA units to be stationed in the American homeland until at war.
4. If destroyers for bases event fires then USA cannot station military units in the UK until at war with a common enemy.

General Business
1. Apart from where stipulated in the rules for each specific country, or unless agreed apon by all the players. No country is to exploit for supplies or trade rapes under any circumstances.
2. No releasing puppets and running endless convoy explots. ie: Malaysia.
3. A capital of an enemy country cannot be surrounded as a means to cut the enemy armed forces off from supplies. A surrounded enemy capital must be occupied by the first available military unit available.
4a. No one can sell a country about to be annexed a VP province somewhere else. ie: Poland being sold Tel Aviv in the middle East.
4b. Provinces can be bought and sold freely between countries and in some circumstances even edited, except in the event of the above mentioned scenario.
5. Surrounded armies may not be disbanded to save on manpower.
6. Armies cannot strat redeploy off the front lines, it must retreat to the nearest province behind the lines before redploying.
7. No country may change it's starting land doctrine.

Trading and Military hardware sales.
1. The USA is permitted to build and supply the UK with escort fleets (DD, CL, CVL), should Gibralta fall.
2. A human controlled France must not trade away any military units unless agreed apon by all players.
3. Starting navies can be sold away except starting Capital ships (CV, BB, BC, CA, CVL). Other wise all nations are prohibited to build and sell/give units to any country unless at war with a common enemy. ie: USA cannot build 25 Tank divisions and give them to the USSR in September 1941, when America doesn't join the war until January 1st 1942.
4a. The allies cannot trade for rares and oil in the first month of the game, unless a minor power, even then keep it fair and realistic. ie: Canada or Australia ect ect.
4b. The allies can accept any ai offered trade deals for rares and oil.
4c. It is in the spirit of the game for the allies to accept trade offers for rares and oil from the axis powers within reason. ie: No one will be expected to accept a trade deal worth 100 oil, 100 rares for say 2 supplies.

Mischelaneous
1. If anyone expects another player of breaching the rules in anyway or exploiting, then make a save. Do not inflame the situation and hold up the session. Post a comment in regards to the matter in the forum. Pass the save to a nuetral party and inform them of the rule break or game mechanic being exploited you suspect. If the nuetral Party finds the potential offender to be guilty then the group will decide as a whole wether to eject that player from the game and find a replacement or another punishment will be imposed. ie: Edit in 5% dissent, or remove 5k of every resource from the offending players stockpiles ect ect.
2. The object of the Aussie group is to have fun and to encourage values such as good leadership and team work. If your a self glorifying person and in general an ass hat, then don't bother signing up for games played under the Aussie group rules, as your simply not what we're looking for. SE.

Question: If USSR and Germany signs the molotov-Rittentrop pact, what is the earliest date when Germany can attack? There is only mentioning that if the pact is NOT made, base warentry changes from jan 42 into jan 41.

Good question. I'm pretty sure it was January 1st 1941 unless an aggreement was made between the respective powers for a later DOW date. SE.
