I'll take the backseat this time and pick last + probably play something smaller, so that others can enjoy playing the powerful majors Smile

So probably something like Italy / Romania / Canada / Spain / China could be interesting to test out.

It sounds good that you(Alex) will pick last ,so that we mortals get a chance Big Grin

Chimaera72 will be on vacation abroad from 19 June to 26 June, if my Intel is correct.

So that means that first next play date is 28 June with new patch and DLC.
That will leave us some time to get used to the new things.

Redcoat also talked about have more time after Midsummers eve.

I have been thinking of trying out the Red One (Soviet) next time, but nothing is written in stone yet.
If not I would like to get a new chance as UK from start or some other country except Germany ,that I´m not ready for yet.

Ok. I will also wait then and pick some side Alex doesn't. =D
I can play anything as usual but I'm aiming for whatever major gets picked last.
I also believe we will have Oddb@ll with us next campaign.

I'm going to hang back and pick from what is left after people has picked what they want to play.

I will be in Spain between june 19th-28th, travelling back from Spain on june 28th, I think I'll be able to play in the evening on the 28th.

We are going away on vacation later half of July, which means we can only play 28 June, 5 July and 12 July.

Don't feel your held back by "not being ready" though. If you want to go for Germany then Louise said she was also interested in giving Soviet a shot as long as none of the strongest players in the group will play Germany.

Since our mentality is about allowing everyone to have fun I think this would be a good chance for you and Louise to test out a more powerful nation when me and Praetori will pick last.

I have honestly not played Germany so much ,but I will try them out now for some days and then, I tell if I´m going to play them.

Nice of Louise wanting to play Soviet Smile

Me and my family will be away (Vecka 28), so good timing.

I guess that after that we will start playing in August then, after a break.

I have decided to play Germany if now Louise wants to play Soviet.
I will do my best with Germany, will practice now until start of the Campaign Smile

So I will soon write that down at the top of this thread and then the rest can start to think about what to play.

1.4.1 BETA seems stable enough (no game breaking issues). There's been some reports of frequent re-syncs but that could be a multi-platform issue.
Did you guys try the 1.4.1 hotfix? Air combat seems much better now (compared to even 1.4).

I will give the BETA a try ,but it looks like there is some good fixes.

I sounds like the official Patch 1.4.1 will be out next week so that we can play on that one in the new Campaign.

Btw, for anyone interrested I have concluded the AAR of the last game (finally):
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/historical-multiplayer-aar-japans-pacific-war.1019565/

It ended up a bit longer then I originally planned for given how much awesome action there was to write about, and has some interresting analysis for anyone that want to learn more about Carrier warfare as well.
