It appears my mother in law will be visiting over the weekend to see the new baby, and my wife didn't like my feeble attempt to tell her I had plans. No-go for me this Sunday

I keep forgetting that this is on Sundays, not Saturdays. This means that I will not be able to show up tommorow, as I have work that I couldn't avoid.

I will potentially be a bit late today, I've got some filming I'm doing for a friend.

I will be absent for two consecutive weeks (the 16th and the 23rd) because I'll be in West Virginia without a computer. I'll try to find a sub (or subs), although I'm not sure how I'll write my AARs for those two sessions.

I'll accept sub-written AARs, or you can write backstory for your dynasty, or worldbuilding, or outline your strategy.

It will be close call if I can make it for the start of the session (I bet now that might not make it you finally manage start ontime) but I will not be more than a hour late maximum.

So, In case anybody hasn't been watching the news, There's a Category Five Hurricane more or less barreling right at my place of Residence. There's a fairly large Chance it will end up hitting my state this weekend at some point (And I may need to evacuate). Needless to Say, I cant play underwater so I very well might miss sunday, so am shopping for a potential sub.

I'll still see about getting the Cosmetic edits into the mod but no promises.

Have you considered renting an AirBNB with wifi outside of the hurricane range for the weekend, driving there with your computer, playing the session, and then returning to the devastation? I would come up with a clever portmanteau of evacuation and vacation, but the words are too similar to make it work.

Hurricane Irma is on a direct path to fuck up Florida royally, Evacuations have not been ordered yet, but I have folks I know in Tallahassee planning on bugging out as early as Friday. You'd be a dumbass to not be at least planning for the possibility.

Tallahassee probably is pretty safe all things considered. Its also starting to look like it might run along the Atlantic Coast, which is bad news for Miami and Jacksonville but Good news here in the Gulf. As far as evacuating, well thats a possibility, but its uneeded if all were going to get here on the westcoast is a tropical storm for a few days.

Sat through a category five once, whilst venturing out in the western-hemis, shit was intense. I was up amongst the mountains though, next to zero chance of flooding, still hefty trees were uprooted and power lines were pulled downed, knocked out the power for about a month. Presumed you were going to say you won't be available for a while, either way do take care.

I'm not in the direct path of the Hurricane right now, Obviously if Irma turns north late and directly impacts Tampa i'll be out of commision for a few weeks, but if it does what most are expecting and just slides up the spine or atlantic coastline we'll only get getting hurricane/tropical storm conditions for the weekend and monday. In fact, if I dont need to evacuate, I'll likely be fine for Sunday as the bulk of the storm is expected to reach Tampa in the afternoon and Monday.

I may be about half an hour late. I had a thing this morning that was supposed to end half an hour ago but is showing no signs of stopping, so I may yet be a bit late to the session.

I will not be here for the next session, if anyone can pull a sub out of their ass, I would be much obliged.

I will most likely need a sub for next session (15th October). I definetly will miss like 1-2 hour of start of the session but if there is a sub that can play the whole session then fine, I wont have to rush back home.

As Golle and I have agreed, I will sub for him. He does not have to hurry Smile
