Hello Daniel , hello everybodyAhoy , do you remember me? I m back after 8 (!) months, despite of my declared availability and reliability I was kept away from the fun because of a lot of work, but sometimes I checked the forum hoping for a re-entry.
Finally I m ... home!eh eh .Party Time Smile I would like to join the fight if possible ,... and.... if possible I would like to play as France Big Grin ,or China , anyway .. any minor ,co-op etc.Smile

Hello Antonio. Nice to see you again.

I was out of order in past few days, getting through fever/cold. I'll have weekend for all myself. Today, I want to compile our mod.

I'll post full set of changes and you'll be able to comment on them. Then we'll have short discussion and final mod should be its output.

OK, here it is. It's merged with latest beta patch released today. Get it here.

What I did:
- I took our last game mod
- merged it with latest beta patch
- updated comments where appropriate to show original values from FTM 3.06 b2, not SF base of our older mod
- I removed some minor changes which were obsolette due to beta patch scope


I don't know the checksum, take this version as preliminary one. Please comment on it, we may add or remove anything necessary. Be constructive, use arguments to back up your requests/claims. Thanks Thumbs Up

Applying mod using moddir
  1. Download mod using link provided below.
  2. Unpack it in 'mod' directory you can find within your HoI3 directory
  3. Run the game via launcher (hoi3.exe) and choose 'Monday Multiplayer Mod 2.0' as a mod to load.
  4. Alternatively, create shortcut to hoi3game.exe somewhere (I have it on my desktop) and change 'Target' in properties of this shortcut to something like this 'C:\Games\HoI3\hoi3game.exe -mod mmm'.
  5. Check whether your checksum is XXXX. If not, you may have altered some game files yourself. Either revert these to vanilla FTM 3.06 BETA 2 (ODCK) and restart the mod.

1.1 Soviet Union Soviet Union

  • Starting officer ratio in 1938 scenario is 85% (original value 60%)
  • About 25% more leadership is now located behind the Urals.
  • When Soviet Union loses key cities in West Russia, she gains 500 MP via decision.
  • Transfer of industry behind Urals event now moves also manpower from given cities (up to 50% of it).

    1.2 United States United States

  • When Nationalist China is annexed, USA gains 100 MP via decision.
  • When Vichy France is created, USA gains 300 MP via decision.
  • When USA loses Pacific bases, they gain 300 MP via decision.

    1.3 Italy Italy

  • Italy gets more base IC (11 more)

    1.4 Romania

  • When Romania loses Bessarabia, she gets 50 MP.

    1.5 Hungary

  • Germany get option to not create Slovakia on End of Czechoslovakia event and former Slovak territory goes to Hungary.

    Wall of text attacks and critically hits for 100500 damage!
    First part of fixes regarding countries is just fine.
    Minor things I have noticed in 1938 scenario - Ethiopia is fixed. Will report later if anything more is noticed.
    Make partisans 3x more expensive and we need event for Russia adding officers. UK DOES get 0 neutrality.
    I will leave only parts of text where I think changes of changes are needed.

    2. Fixes

    BUILDING_REPAIR_SPEED = 0.175, --0.1, Not needed anymore, infra damage is now non-linear and repairs too.
    LEADERSHIP_TO_OFFICERS = 3, --4, Research for some techs is now more expensive, I'd revert back to 4 leaving other officer changes intact, including heavy officer losses during combat. That alone was responsible why officer rate was not improving during summer.


    3.3 Military
    All is fine.


    3.4 Diplomacy
    All is fine.

    4. Changes to Buildings
    Changes okay.

    5. Changes to Units

    I returned those two modifiers in defines.lua to vanilla values. All armor got its vanilla practicals back.

    However, I'd keep incresed number of officers for armored brigsades and reduced speed for river crossing. Opinions?

    Increased officer rate, certainly. Defensive terrain has been rebalanced too, but reduced speed you can keep in.

    Indeed, I play RUS. Daniel was kind enough to provide a whole sub-section for AGEOD-games here, but currently only me and Ike play. Try the AGEOD forums for PBEM games, and make sure you're patched and using the hotfix.
    I'll post a link to the patches etc in the AGEOD section shortly.

    To play multiplayer, one player creates the game normally, then sends the .trn-files to other player(s), they do their orders, save, and send the .ord file to the host, who then resolves turn, and sends back the new .trn-file (and optionally also the replay file).
    This is also described in the manual.

    I also have Rise of Prussia, and I think Pride of Nation, but that I've never played.

    Thank you very much , as you can see in my previous post I edited because I had just found the sub forum, anyway I m going to follow all the instructions and I ll certainly play ,btw I have ACW ROP PON NCs ,but I ve enjoyed just ACW( great!) and PON (I ve found it great and very difficult ,long term strategies and a complex economy...)

    They are making NCs 2(Napoleon Campaigns 2) very different from the first, now real time , better than the first but still for napoleonic era fans ,since they are taking care of details such as the unique uniforms for regiments changig year after year, i.e. evolution of uniforms , etc , AGEOD , even into Paradox, remains a leader in historical simulation...

    Yes, I saw that bit about NC2 a while back. Hopefully, they'll remake a lot of other AGE games as well, and make them more accessible and/or known for new players.
