I may be away for this session, there is however small chance I can make it.
I have prepared detailed instructions for sub in case I couldnt make it, so test our connections, make ready someone can get lucky to lead the most awesome country in the next session. Preferably experienced HOI player as current situation is a bit overwhelming.

In that case, allow me to express my interest in doing so. I do not have any experience in multi-playing, but I have been playing HOI2 for a large percentage of my free time the last 4 years...

Do you have printed HOI 2 maps from main theaters of war printed and hung on the wall for on the spot tactical planning?

Hmm, no but that sounds like a good idea Crazy Since I already have the map that came with the HOI anthology that could be arranged. I could turn my livingroom into a tactical planning centre and... decrease my dating with 45%. Damn, I think I'll have to rethink this. Or get a house with a basement.

I have not managed to get a hold of Danomite for a connectivity test, but I have achieved checksumness with the mod. So you can send now or wait for the connectivity test. I have yet to understand the order of succession that your subbing follows, so I am completely at a loss if I am next in line (during the past 5 days I have been told I'm first in line for SPQR, France and now possibly Japan), but if you're comfortable with it, I'm all for it.

Hmm, then you probably are the next in line. Connectivity shouldnt be a proble unless you use a router, then you need to forward a few ports.
I will send the instructions as soon as I get back to desktop.

Having the right checksum isen't 100% certain that everything will go smoothly, so I suggest a connection test. Also I suggest you add few of us to your MSN and also if you have the capacity to use Teamspeak, it's certainly good thing.

if you don't get hold to dano in time, I can for emergy arrange a connection test between us. At least we seem to be at the same godforsaken part of the worldWink

My last visit to Latvia was end of april 2007...just a quick dash from Estonian side to go and waste the few latis we had. Yet it took enough time that when we returned, all the booze seld in every Estonian shops were being covered with plastic bags and the shopkeepers told us that selling of alcohol was forbidden untill the next day or something...Mad Mad

(this was during the bronze-soldier riots in Tallin)

At last? This is practically a Scandinavian Civil War: KoM is Norwegian, me & Falakh Swedish, Georgia + Finland Finnish, France is Danish... and Jakalo + Edzako are basically our lost east-Scandinavian brothers too. So... One Tooth Grin

I will NOT be away this saturday. I will be back at last, with a divine mandate and twice the megalomania (and half the country).

Yay!

It is said that the future is always born in pain. The history of war is the history of pain.
If we are wise, what is born of that pain matures into the promise of a better world,
because we learn that we can no longer afford the mistakes of the past.

Chinaman, I've fought countless times, yet I've never met an adversary who could offer me what we Eastasians call "A Beautiful Death." I can only hope, with all the world's warriors gathered against us, there might be one down there who's up to the task.

Oh come on, it's at least semi-Scandinavian. Or for a better word, Nordic.

I've got a 4-day stubble that makes me look like a hobo drug dealer. Does that count?
