I wish I could take credit for it, but that count is a combined total between us! We have both had our moments in the Sun and the Emperor is no doubt pleased.

Japan alone CAN'T win Pacific war, but they can delay USA help for Europe.
And yes, once more impressive work by Axis.

Quite right, we know we have not won, we fight merely to survive. The fleet we saw at Guam testifies to the USA's continued power in the pacific. As does all those battleships we have seen in the past, that have not been sunk.

The battle for Moscow was bloody and long, but it was won in the end. The Soviet air force is still a force to be reckoned with and this hinders huge bombing campaigns, prolonging combat all over the front.
The central pocket had very little hope of being evacuated, but it took quite some time to destroy it. Afterwards the Axis units needed time for re-organization and re-deployment, but now we are continuing our push.
I suspect Sevastopol will fall next and if we can manage the supply situation, I don't think SU stands a chance anymore.

As a side note, one of my light amour divisions was trapped for some time behind enemy lines during a daring blitz attack and it faced numerous enemies. Fortunately it was freed before the ultimate disaster happened... Cool

The session saw absolutely no action in the west, except the continued success of German submarines in the Atlantic. I wonder how many convoys the UK has lost in total during the entire game, it might be above 1000 Smile

I wonder the same about Axis, how many convoys they have lost so far. Japan losses should be staggering.

Actually, I think we have destroyed about as many convoys as we have lost with far few losses of submarines.

I only know italian convoy kills and losses have been very minor ever since med got close, I don't think I've even lost convoys last session or two (?) and barely killed any either, maybe 10 each session? But then I lost 2 more subs last session...

Duh, no more saves/maps than that, huge gaps between;
June 27th to August 19th (1,5 months...)
Oct 3rd to Oct 30th (27 days)
...rest are not really all that much closer, but at least it's under 2weeks between each...

Traks has saves from like every 10 days yes? send them at least if you are too lazy to take screenshots Wink

No actual map images to post?

I've got some screenshots of me finishing off the big Russian pocket that I closed during the first barbarossa session. +that screenshot montage I previously posted. Sadly I missed last session so didn't get anything.

I've put the shots into a .rar for you, you can see in the shots the Russian counter attack from the north, the shrinking and attack on the pocket, the Russian counter attack from the east which almost free'd the trapped units, they briefly made contact with the pocket before getting cut off and the Russian units retreated into the German expeditionary tank force. And a final shot of Romanian units initiating attacks against Bulgaria.

After I finished off the pocket the Russians pushed me back to a line that would be in-line with the Hungarian boarder at the time, they then retreated to positions behind the River and me and Hungary moved forward. It stayed like this for a while until I could bring the units who were attacking Bulgaria up to plan a breakthrough over the river. This was about the time the massive German-Hungarian pocket of the Russians was taking place, my attacks over the river were successful and I was in the process of making another minor Russian pocket when the session ended. I don't know what happened to that because the AI took over next session.

I have some screenshots of the breakthrough prattle results but they don't really add anything as I didn't get many map shots for it.

I think the ones after may 28th that don't coinside with the dates on my list (quite a few of those are from crashed dates when I made backupsave), probably faster just to pack all past 28th up and send it Rolleyes

Just a few screenshots from the latest session.

The attack on Krim broke through, and the Soviets didn't stand a chance against the German forces consisting of 1 panzer corps and 2 infantry corps.
The mobile units of the Wehrmacht managed to encircle and destroy the Soviet defenders:

German units continue to push beyond Moscow and manages to encircle and destroy some Soviet infantry divisions.
The German units are however under supplied, making the attacks somewhat difficult at times:

In the south Stalingrad is in sight, but unfortunately the Soviets have amassed most of their remaining troops here.
They seem determined to defend the last big city still in Stalins hands:
