Earlier is better, now we can argue this for a while Big Grin

I actually don't have any real preference personally, I like both of the games though I suppose I would like to try Vicky 2 in MP...

Vicky 2!
Goddamn HoI3 is too sloooow...

As far as I know there are massive OOS problems with Vicky 1.2 which means it might be a pain to play.
Otherwise I am up for it.

Ohh if we play Vicky then we should aim for no conversion as that makes to game more interesting, i.e. more endgame struggles to become the #1 nation Smile

I voted for Semper Fi too.
I think that Vicky 2 is better to wait more. Speed of patches has went down considerably in Paradox, though.

I didn't vote yet. I'd be for Vicky 2 or HoI3. HoI3 is slow, but I like it being slow. I have much more problems with OOS and crashes.

How about AoD then?

As we have talked about in the session thread, a HOI3 game with a later start could be fun just to see what happens. I think a later start makes things harder for Axis, but honestly I have no idea as I haven't played them.

Well i would like a HoI3 game again (with more balanced SU in '38, or a later scenario like '39 where it's more about tactics).

Vicky2 is awesome, but if there are still so many OOS issues it's a no go. It's already very exhausting with the hoi3 OOSes.

I voted for SF. I have not played vicky 2 much yet, but since we are talking MP I believe we should wait until most the bugs/OOS are addressed.

Besides that I am still having a blast in MP HOI 3.

AoD is not an option for me. I simply cannot go back from HoI3 to HoI2, no matter how improved that HoI2 is...it's still HoI2.

EDIT: Voted SF

So how far along are you guys in HoI3 now? Got them Ratzis on the run yet? Or defeated the Bolchevik hordes? Driven the British Lion back into its cage? Painted the world Soviet Red?
Is it time to plan the next game, and will it be anything but a HoI3 game?

I believe its another HOI 3.... In this the Soviets are trying to survive: allies have launched an invasion into Denmark, but really its been an Axis victory just waiting to happen for a few sessions now.

I would like to play Vicky, but only after the massive OOS problems have been fixed. I have no idea when pdox plans a 1.3 patch, but I guess it will take a couple of months at least.
So HOI3 it is and hopefully the new patch will make it even more enjoyable Smile

Is there a real OOS problem in V2? SE and MG apparently had no problems with patch 1.2

Oddly enough some people barely notice any OOS issue. And sometimes OOS is just a glitch, which we had two of last Tuesday in EU3.

And honestly I can't afford more than 2 evenings/week for HOI3.
Right now they are Monday and Tuesday.

Yes, game starts on 3rd of January.

Hey, you can join our EU3 game on Tuesdays then Big Grin Portugal is available, and so is any East Asian Country you'd care to pick...
