It seems like Paradox might include a scenario made for MP in mind, I think we should discuss what to change to obtain balance.

Initial thoughts:

- Italian neutrality needs to be upped a bit and they might need some more IC / leadership as compensation (we do give them a bit IC in our mod).

- Soviet Union should also have higher neutrality or something to deter conquering every country it can. Also I think it might need a small leadership boost, preferably placed somewhere in the Urals.

- China needs a serious buff or Japan needs a nerf, not exactly sure how to do this.

You can't say civilization don't advance - for in every war, they kill you in a new way.

China should be made stronger... probably more officer rate and more militia, some 20 divs.

discussing who should be stronger when we dont talk about the global situation we want to have in 39, 40 41 etc is moot.

a japan which is bogged down in china in late 1939 is fubar if usa can enter in nov 1939.

first decide if this is a 1 v 1 v 1 alliance game or a 1 v 1 alliance game. For the mp game to make sens japan needs to stand a chance in supriseing usa and tyeing it down a bit so that usa can attack germany only if russia is in bigger shit than usual..

You are right Fiendix. My idea is that the land war in China should take longer, not necessarily be "harder" as in you need more troops. If the SU could not DOW every country in the world as soon as it can, USA would not be able to enter the war so early. Also, as seen in our game, USA can get into the war to early... hehe...

Basically I think the scenario should be balanced towards the historical alliances, but still give room for variations.

Something to make minors 'more fun to play' and 'more of an asset than hinderance as allies', meaning, as simple suggestion, increase the base leadership every country has ...
So as "global_leadership = 2" to something a lot more, like 7? (The minors fall ridiculously far behind in tech, sure they couldn't stay on par with major powers of the era, but most could at least build some small arms/artillery (that wasn't even out of date) and develop tactics of some sort, currently they have so little leadership they are complete pushovers because of being so out of date...

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Which is a problem, if you are powerless.
