2000 again? or 1900?
Anyway, i reinstalled HoI3, looking for new network driver right now.
If somebody has time at say 1830 CET to test my connection, now is the time to shout "i want! i want! i want!"

I might run a bit late, hopefully I should be there not much later than 19.00

I might have problems to be there at 19:00. Bad day at work. But I'll try to be there on time and work after the game instead...

Yeah, same. Great to be in the action finally.

GER did well and landed in Sweden and captured Stockholm and is now pushing inland. I hope the OKH aren't missing these elite forces on the main Eastern Front. STAVKA sure isn't! (+20 divs in Sweden?)

Russia has already lost a few milita divisions but that's only to be expected after such nefarious attack from the Germans.

(Im curious why did you attack 1 of jan? Not saying its not good but earlier = less prepared, later better weather = you better prepared etc. There are always pros and cons. I guess you picked the point because you felt ready enough.

EDIT:
Btw, can we do something about the few remaining land provinces in southern Turkey? They are annoying. Edit them to Italy for all I care.

Yes, we felt prepared enough. As I said, after building serious naval assets we had to take little bit more time to be ready for Eastern campaign.
Don't worry about main front, we got plenty of forces there Smile
No idea what you are talking about in Turkey question.

Those provinces are very british, I took away the 'sliver' already, 5 provinces wide should be enough for any counteroffensive, mind that I'm also fighting the brits in ... well, Syria for now, but very close to Turkey.

And damn the Syria, should never have started that op, didn't expect much of british reaction with japanese in Iraq and all, guess I was wrong. Should never have gone for 'easy march into beirut' but done it properly with enough troops for once.

I seem to remember it has happened before.... Big Grin

Anyways, fun game all around. Japanese advances are crazy, very good play from experienced Jap players I must say.
Shame I lost my transport fleet, but I did manage to engage in CV combat without losing a single ship myself, while sinking Japanese escorts...

Good session, break out from india was successful, also i delivered a beating or 2 to the IJN (the CAGs of UK were probably the deciding factor, but who cares? Big Grin ), finally sinking some escorts. I lost escorts also throughout the entire session, but nothing major, and i never lost any TP fleets iirc. These divisions were put to good use to ferry troops over to the US where the japs attacked me.

Now Mexico is soon mine (i actually wasnt sure that this would happen, but reinforcements and fortunate battle outcomes favored the defender. The jap is on the run in the american west (had i know that the invasion force was rather small you wouldnt have advanced so far. oh well.) and stuck in mexico where i can hopefully obliterate him. it's just very unfortunate though that i lost Panama, but it seems the japs are too preoccupied everywhere to undertake a further offensive for now.

But let's see what you guys have up your sleeves next session Smile

Germany on other hand is doing very successfully in North, where Soviets were caught napping without their rifles.
Even some Soviet transports who tried to evacuate troops were intercepted.
East itself will be tested next session.

4?5? Soviet subs were sunk, probably LVL1 but every little counts.
UK fleet was scared away to Scapa Flow.

Japanese fought some hard undecisive battles with USA.
Oh yes, don't you worry about more successful adventures Smile

Breakout was mainly possible as due to reloads you could prolly see that you would enter seazone with my cv fleet as it was to happen within hrs - thus you changed the route of the tps and i caught them too late. Really irritating as I was planning that intercept for the last 3 weeks. Then with no orthank and my scrolling to usa i forgot to merge my escort reinforcement with my cv fleets which further fucked up my combat plans - not to mention that i later forgot about the 2 escorts and 4 tps that got caught with the usa BBs (thankfully none were sunk - and btw u asked do i really need to pause Holy - takeing screeinies too btw (can do that only on pause it seems as my comp hangs). Ech... frustrating and feel a bit cheated out of such further glory :/. At least i pummeled the uk TPs Devil. They thought they were fleeing to safety - oh the shock in their voices Big Grin.

Overall I didnt lose much in general though - will do stats when i have the time - at least i think allies seem to have lost more than i did.

the most frustrating thing is the silly supply ai which shipped all my oil out and the last hr we were playing with no oil. the brilliant ai has sent from siam to northern china a string of oil (100+ oil per province) which ammounts to over 6000+ oil. the rest is stuck in the depot. Really makes me want to stop playing this shit. From now on ill request edits dureing the game as loseing initiative due to this is NOT fun..

We never thought that it will be a long stay in the americas - obv 450 ic and all usa manpower vs whilst we fight on 3 fronts is a bit hard. You are just too paraniod and to eager to give up originally. I loved the USA militia though Big Grin

Mexico - dont be so sure of yourself Wink - its still not over.

USA - we never intended to make a long stay - at least you lost over 60 ic and need to fight for it now. More of u in usa than elsewhere.

Panama - One Tooth Grin Tongue

Yes, I'd like to see some solution for Japanese problem.
Last session I sent back 20,000 supplies and 15,000? fuel. Or slightly less.
In half-a-session AI shipped it all away to mainland.

Any solutions to this from Allied side are appreciated.
Maybe put Qingdao depot after fall of China to 99,999?
Or add supplies/fuel back to Tokyo without deleting local cache?

i have a better solution if all could agree we could test at least...

basically the problem comes down to that the ai sets up a huge super depot in asia. This depot supplies EVERTHING from iraq to siberia and keep sending shit into that. Currently i have over 60k+ of supplies stuck in the supply chain and at least 15k of oil... The only way to avoid this is not to link up such depots which ofc is impossible to do manually. All i can suggest is that we give terrains that will seperate these depots to:

1) rebels? - so i cant trace supplies through them - though i hope this doesnt increase the rebelion chances in areas nearby
2) give it to italy? - though then i think my supply can be traced?
3) give it to monrovia something in the middle of south america and give me mil access?

or we just do a lot of edits every 1-2 hrs.

So what naval losses were there during the session in total? Who won the IC-war this time?

USA mainland slowly being liberated is good news but can hardly be described as a victory. Stalin demands a second front now! :-)

If you start messing with the supply depot it will move somewhere else instead.

That's why I thought that setting 99K in Qingdao would solve problem at least there.
With 99K AI stops shipping. If player uses some fuel/supply, it falls below and AI resumes shipping.
No solution for 100 depots of 100 supplies though.

------CA--CL--CV--CVL--DD--SS--TP
UK----4---8----------------2-----2---11
USA--2---19---5-----1----13---4-----6
JAP---1----1----------------12---3------
ITA--------1---------------11---13-----

so allies lost this session:

1 CA, 7 CLs, 2 SS, 9 TPS - 19 ships

axis lost:

1 CA, 1 CL, 5 DDs, 4 SS - 11 ships

maybe ederon can do that ship calc Work Out to count icdays worth of loss.....
