Same day, same time, as usual, unless someone objects Smile

Looking forward to it!

Affirmative!

You can't say civilization don't advance - for in every war, they kill you in a new way.

i made the early train so if nothing catastrophic happens i should be home by 1800, call it half seven with the usual railway delays, so 1900 is fine

Hmm, I'm getting good at estimates...

Valiant defence of the river, but everything can be broken with enough concentration of force right? One Tooth Grin

urgh, what a session. for one i forced you oout of seattle, but i bogged down in central america, plus i lost some transport fleets which hurts a fair bit. But Germany is certainly under pressure, let's see how that goes Smile
So far it's a very interesting game, but japan is just a tough bitch to play against Big Grin

Good fight all around. Air warfare is very intensive and tiresome at the same time. If only reserve mission worked as intended. This micromanagement is a hell for me. Nevertheless, good session. Looking forward to the next one.

I find that even playing Italy solo I have way too much time on my hands, so I can manage the air pretty well (just forgetting 3 ints in France for a week was not expected to lead into loss of them all... sigh)

Thats probably the reason you managed to break that river line. I can only devote so much time to micronmanage my forces when fighting on such a huge front. But considering this Russia is actually doing very decent.

As of now, it's 5-6 Axis players vs. 4 Allied players. So much for micro and time for micro.

I'll blame my shortcomings on the lack of a second player One Tooth Grin

Call it 4 vs 4,5 since I was watching porn most of June (or was it July?)

------BB--CA--CL--CV--CVL--DD--SS--TP
UK----0----4---9----0-----0-----6---5---11
USA--5----5---24---5-----3----14---5---22
JAP---0----1----1---0-----0----14---3---0--
ITA----0---0----1---0-----0----12---13--0--
GER--0---0-----4----1----0-----3---9---0--

so allies lost this session:

1 BB, 3 CA, 3 CL, 1 SS, 16TP - plus Free French got badly wacked this session (didnt bother)

axis (or rather germany) lost:

2 CL, 1 DD, 1 SS, 1 CV - though germany lost a bit more due to air strikes - i also lost a DD this session IIRC and dont know why it doesnt show up - maybe i misscounted last session.

The air strikes usually don't show up, I destroyed at least 1 or 2 more German CV's along with some more CL's. I know Germany has lost 6 CL's in total, as that was the number they had in their CV fleet.

indeed they dont - they could fix it... Still CV for 16 tps - even trade id say - although with 22 lost tps usa will have a hard to to move around Smile. Get ready for another To To To Wink

BTW i also noticed (juv maybe you can test and confirm and post on the beta forum) that cvs dont seem to get any exp - ie they stay at the same level all the time.. though that could be due to earlier str losses?

Oh, btw. I voted no to the SOV DOWs in South America. I'm glad we reached a consensus to not do it anymore.
