Guys.I just thought of a thing not relevant to this campaign but another one I'm playing in. Aren't GOIs screwed up? What if Russia GOIs Benelux or even Poland before war breaks out etc?

That's the reason why we made GOIs expensive.

I think GoI's work just as they should... you end up in war with the attacker...
...if Soviets want to go to war at poland, well, that's their business isn't it?

We had a situation in one of our games where Russia did that by accident and I believe cleared it. Russia had GOI's everywhere.

That Russia was me Painter
One or two patches before that game, GOI just reduced neutrality by 3.
And it *was* real cheap to do that.

In my sunday campaign I play russia as well. Germany put a GOI on Sweden and the Axis said "you can't attack it because then you break the MR-pact" I told them I wanted to GOI the Benelux and they weren't too happy about it and it all got kind of rowdy. I allowed them to use their magic shield on Sweden in the end but I just wanted to ask how this group sorted it out.

Bulgaria and Turkey ended up with mutual GOIs on them. I let the Swiss and Greece go to the axis without GOIs even though I think they were gamey about Sweden but they appear such beginners that I don't think it matters when war comes.

So GOIs cost how much?

See you in an hour!

50 diplo.

I still think those diplo costs are way too small - esp the license which cost 75 still enables usa to buy planes and tanks - it also allows japan to by some shit. Just crap imo.

Ill be 10-20 mins late as im still stuck in the office.. :/

I think licensing should be possible, but at a cost. Maybe 75 is not enough. We can raise it in future installment of our mod.

ok 20.00

Well a License build allows you to purchase as many units as you want right? ie 1 INT and 20 INT costs the same or is it 75 diplo for each INT?

I really wish PI would look into these things in FoTM but we all know that just because its broken doesn't mean they think they need to fix it. :-( I hate the Beta-forums atm where only irrelevant new features are being discussed and nothing is being done about huge mistakes in the original design. One can cleary tell that I am not the only Beta that feels this but PI seems imperveous to our feelings.

the problem is you cannot sell a patch, it absolutely needs new features, however irrelevant Sad

The problem is we buy buggy games. if we did not, they'd be forced to make them properly before releasing them.

So not bad session for axis - kicked out allies from europe with the help of japan - seems we need to do everything for the europeans Big Grin. Finally made some progress in bagdad takeing advantage that uk was being pressed on mulitple fronts - hopefully iraq will be liberated soon. Saudis are also under the boot thus putting a bit more pressure on allies.

Nothing much in the naval aspect - uks fleet was seen for a breif moment in the red sea which delayed the SA attack, but the didnt catch any fleets. IJN caught a bb seeemingly swimming on its own in the altantic though it wasnt sunk - tough little buggers.

UK seems to have lost another tp dureing the escape from Gib. The remaining tps are badly damaged and still not safe from german bombers..

sooo i know Ederon wont be in next week to play - though if possible id like to play at least 1 hr or so mostly to reorganize units as a lot of things are a mess. so maybe play 2-7 days even mostly for micro stuff?

that would require at least 1 person per major played.... would that be fine with Juv/Ederon/Russia?

Italy doesn't need anything done paused that I can think of either (Unless I want to start naming divisions), but....
...I suppose I can try to be there sitting afk if I possibly remember to show up. While playing Aurora.
