Yes, this time we need to make sure to have a player for Italy though. And let's try to be on time.

I can play but I don't want to sit around and wait again for people that won't show up without confirmation.

Nobody wants is my guess.

Allies:
DEFAULT - one of most reliable players lately (if not directly the most reliable), I don't worry about him
Traks - was there last time, no need to worry
Forgivan - are you in?
Orthank - correct version? hope yes

I'm sending out PMs to Forgiven/Orthank, just in case...

I must confess I'm not really enjoying HoI lately, but I guess I'll show up so you folks can play...

Lost quite some stuff in Scandinavia, 2 arm divs, 5 inf divs, some militia and heroic paras who tried to save their comrades from nazi claws. I paid so much just to find out again we are nothing in the offensive against Germans. Still, some serious casualties inflicted on enemy, though nothing to match loss of Scandiniavian army. Black day for Soviet northern command.

I just hope this poured little motivation to Axis camp, who seemed rather psychologically exhausted till now. I'll stick to the version of the story that my intention was just to give the game another spin Wink

Nice session! I almost surrounded 4 Italian divisions in Turkey with some armour sent there but then had to conduct a fighting withdrawal when 30 Japanese divisions came pouring up from Syria. Only lost 1 militia division when I forgot about my "quick" evacuation naval force in the Black Sea. Oh well. I'd rather have the Japs bleeding to death in the Caucasus than celebrating the capture of Suez so mission accomplished. Smile

Grinded down some Axis manpower outside Dnepropetrovsk as well.

And the advance to liberate parts of Siberia continues slowly, slowly. I don't know what went wrong in Norway but it seems to have been a total Soviet defeat there. New reserves are of course on its way to plug the gaps again.

Read my last sentence in preceding post.

Seriously though, it begun with temporary loss of concentration when beach defending militia left gap of one province behind advancing army. It was easy for Germany to pump their reserves from Memel there, some 4-5 armored divisions and other stuff. I overestimated my strength when I tried to push them back to sea. Should I start regular pull back from the moment they landed, I'd have lost maybe few militia units. Instead, I lost whole force.

Anyway, good lession. I'll continue the analysis in the Allied forums later.

I figured out problem.
There is different login on site and forums, and lately I tried to log in to site.
Forum login works properly now.

Yes, I waited for your troops to move closer to overextend your lines. And waiting for gap too. Which I used.
Lost some planes today, not sure how many. Just too much for one person to follow everything.

Yes, and this operation gave me willinngness to survive one more session.

I think i grinded some planes Traks, but i lost 1 or 2 due to concentration errors myself.

But the most amazing thing was the sinking of a large Japanese transport force Smile Payback from years ago Big Grin
