I'm fairly certain that I will still be in Scania on the 5th meaning that I will be able to play but not host.
Also, as I'm about to enter a silent zone for a few days I'm taking this opportunity to wish you all a merry christmas.

Being in possession of my shiny 500Mbit fibre-optic as well as my own router, I'd like to try hosting as a backup to Fiv.

You did that purely to make the Finns have to screamble to retarget their orbital death lasers. Evil! I approve!

Jodokus you were only playing with yourself and ken dolls anyway.

So I lost two stacks in the following circumstances: They had retreated from Lashio to Baoshan, and Baoshan was under attack. They were forced to retreat again, and should have gone to Dali, but instead disbanded. There was fighting in Dali, but it does not seem to me that this should have caused retreat to be impossible. Can I get a ruling on whether this was a bug? If so I'd like to get the troops back.

Org was very low, since they had just been defeated; close to zero. Strength I'm not sure, but probably in the region of 80%.

You can have your troops back if i can have my ships... hahhahahaha

Were your troops engaged in some other mission before they were "attacked" and routed? If so its possible they were on cooldown and unable to rout. Ive had that before in normal hoi.

Ive also seen troops retreat into enemy territory.

I must say naval comat in this game is a bit iffy. CV's really are god vessels.

I don't think so. They had just taken Lashio, then you counterattacked right away, then they fought for maybe two weeks before being forced to retreat.

Did they manage to finish the first retreat, before being forced to retreat again? Also, if you loose the province you are retreating to before yuo get there, the troops will be lost.. ?

...but ehhh.. How come you had to retreat at all? I thought you were having a nice little war against some backward country? Big Grin

I seem to recall Kongo losing German tanks to similarly buggy circumstances, I have no problem with KoM getting his forces back presuming we get ours back, Golle had plopped them down on a 60 infra province in the middle of africa and then they died the next day.

Their game can only exist to be won.
Then so be it who else can see it done.

Yes, there were other troops in Baoshan which were still fighting, and kept fighting long after the retreating stacks were gone.

Japanese 'volunteers'. You know these Japanese fanboys, they insist on bringing their hobby projects with them wherever they go; 1:1 scale model tanks, in this case.
