Any hope at all for an early start today? 1700 CET?
All I can do is ask, so I do just that...

"Hvor fattige var de ikke, disse fiskere som levde av havets nåde! De slet sig gjennom livet uten å se sig om til høire eller til venstre. Deres gleder var få, deres bekymringer mange. Men de hadde allikevel et gemyttlig smil til den fremmede, en munter vise og en lun historie. For sånn er de, disse Sørlandets barn."

What time would 1700 be? Also, I have a friend that would like to join. Any comment on that?

The Regular starting time is 1800 Central European Time (Berlin, copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Paris, Roma, etc.)
Check it out somewhere like here to be certain.

17.00 is to early for me, I won't be available until 17.30. Also I believe Schuer can't make it earlier either.

You can check the time until game start on this page: http://www.ederon.net/monday.aspx don't mind that it says monday game VII.
About extra players, the more the merrier but it would be best if he could register on this forum and make present himself. Also you need to be sure that your router is configured correctly, but I guess you already have..

EDIT: Ederon updated his schedule page so it refers to the proper topics.

And install TS too, perhaps. It helps us keep track of who drops and not.

I just came back from an exam and I'm quite tired, so I'll head to sleep. I'll try to wake up before 1800 CET for the session but don't be surprised if I'm late. Hopefully france won't DoW me while I'm away.

Also it might be a good idea to reset badboy to avoid italy DoWing everyone, unless someone is gonna play it.

Just be on time ;-)

I've update our schedule page, but I'm not sure when officially session starts. 18 or 19 CET?

Okay, he's absolutely new to Vicky, he just downloaded it today. I'm getting him Hotfixed up and gonna show him the basics. He said he wants to take Sweden, and stay out of everyone's way, just learn how to play.

What, someone's using your designated computer?!? Put a Jihad on that mofo's ass!
We'll rehost around 1825 for you.

What a shame we had such problems early on. I think it was because of pauses and some connection issues on one end. We should decide what to do with Anders' early disappearance. 3 hours is ok as far as we really play them, not spend over 50% on rehosting/splitting.

No

EDIT: Anyone for some other game? EU3 or CoH or DD? I need to balance deficit I have in this area yay

Agreed. If everyone gets here on time, makes sure they select their country it will do wonders. We spent a lot of time in lobby and crashing. Crashing is not in our control but we can do it faster. Also splitting I think should be done 3-5 minutes at the start of the host and no matter we still start on time.

I unfortunately the only game I have up there is DD but I'm up for a battle scenario or so, 2 v 2 or what not.

Seems like there is not much interest beyond Vicky atm.

Next week Vicky session then, with more strict rehost discipline we should be albe to have much more enjoyable time. This time shame on me too as I misjudged the situation and went afk after my on load CTD. Blushing

It seemed to me that 2 more US players made the game really unstable, and also KeK didn't have the best connection it seemed. I would like to have more players on board, but tonight it didn't seem to go that well.
A short session, but in the end a great war errupted, it will be interesting to watch from the sideline for once.

I dont think the war will be exciting at all. We meet no oppositin, i think we ganged up anders quite much. Sorry mate, but your talk is way too agressive. I just want poland, a nation you already got rid of anyway. We can end it right there.

In Soviet Russia, Schuermann defeats YOU!

I don't think it is the distance per say as it is the poor connection. Kek had what seems to be a terrible connection but as far as I'm aware Binnsman was fine.
