Anyone looking forward to this game? I've read some of the diaries and it looks promissing so far. What do you think?

Paradox also just opened fanpage for the game to make some buzz until game's release.

I looked forward to HoI3.

"Hvor fattige var de ikke, disse fiskere som levde av havets nåde! De slet sig gjennom livet uten å se sig om til høire eller til venstre. Deres gleder var få, deres bekymringer mange. Men de hadde allikevel et gemyttlig smil til den fremmede, en munter vise og en lun historie. For sånn er de, disse Sørlandets barn."

Yes, I am looking forward to HoI4, but I'm not as thrilled as I was when they announced HoI3. Though they have managed a pretty damn good job with both CK2 and EU4.

What you say generally applies to me as well. Given how their latest games evolved into playable pieces I would like to experience WW2 atmosphere of HoI MP sometime with this title. Ideally when it is playable out of the box without major bugs. Early MP campaign without every player knowing last bit of the game is the most attractive form of MP for me.

Just saw this: http://www.twitch.tv/archive/archive_popout?id=558116483
And I'm a lot more hopeful towards HoI4.

It indeed looks promissing. PI has learned how to make user friendly games without sacrificing the depth. In this terms, HoI1 was horrible UX with good depth and atmosphere, hoi2 improved UX a little bit but still far from perfect. HoI3 added some depth without adding much to the UX. And hopefully, HoI4 will polish depth and improve UX at the same time.

EDIT: After watching the whole video: WOW. That's the way baby!
