Hello,

Sorry for late sign up.

I must admit I have played HOI4 VERY little, since beta testing it.

I would like to play any major power, but not the most important ones (Germany fx) since I am so inexperienced, but as long as I end up in Voice-chat with someone that can teach me the ropes I am happy that our old group is getting together again.

Oh, and if someone hasnt bought the game yet, you can get it at Elgiganten.se for only 229 SEK digital download Steam Key.

Hi everyone,

I will soon put up a list on what it seems that people wants to play so far as their first alternatives.

This choices is not cut in stone yet ,so there's no panic.

Hi I am interested. But I can't anyway the 31. You can see my as a substitute until later.

The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives.
The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes.
The business of the Conservatives is to prevent the mistakes from being corrected.

That's good news I didn't know that you where around, saw that you where from Canada, so I thought that you could not attend. Yeah Spain will be great. I will put you up on the list.

To avoid misunderstandings we should maybe clarify that we will play evenings Scandinavian (Swedish) time = CET ( Central European Time ).

And currently we aim to play Wednesdays probably, which means it will be during the middle of the weekday for anyone from America.

Btw, do we still have any sub-forum admins? They would need to fix access to Axis/Allies sub forums for the appropriate players (I'm currently able to browse Axis which doesn't seem right).

If an American player subsidizes the British raj it can be insanely powerful! Will be a fun choice.

Do you lot have a TS server? If not, I can probably wrangle us one.

"Hvor fattige var de ikke, disse fiskere som levde av havets nåde! De slet sig gjennom livet uten å se sig om til høire eller til venstre. Deres gleder var få, deres bekymringer mange. Men de hadde allikevel et gemyttlig smil til den fremmede, en munter vise og en lun historie. For sånn er de, disse Sørlandets barn."

I think that we have both a TS and a Mumble server.

Thanks to you both ,that we have some reserve communications Smile

We are going to tested it today or tomorrow ,to see that everything works.

Here is what Praetori wrote about it:

My thoughts exactly.

I would also make some form of dry-run test with hosting sometime early next week (Monday after 19 or Tuesday after 21) to see we get any issues that I might need to solve with port-forwarding, mumble-server etc.
Hosting address will, as per usual be eve.dontexist.com

Doesn't need to be everyone. I just want to test the connections and get a 39-game on full speed for a couple of minutes to see how everything holds up. I've only been playing MP with friends from my laptop this summer @ the summer retreat and haven't hosted HOIIV on the stationary machines. I don't foresee any problems I can't quickly solve but it would be good if we can get stuff like that sorted before we start in earnest on Wednesday.

In any case I suggest we, for those that can, try to be a bit early on Wednesday since we're going to need getting everyone into voice-chat, server details etc.

Voice servers are up @ eve.dontexist.com (use in your TS3 server address field).
Teamspeak3 PW=OperationNeptune
Fallback will be Mumble server (if we have issues), same DNS but different PW. Users will need to be regged if that becomes a reality but we'll deal with that later.

Please try and see if it works before Wednesday (report back here if it doesn't).

Made a quick test tonight with Alex and everything worked out fine. TS server and HOI server is ready for Wednesday. Please check in on the TS server if you can so that we don't lose time on Wednesday trying to get everyone in.
