1941 was a hard year for germany and italy. As the attack began on soviets german progress was steady to the river, but to italy's woe persia was leaned upon by the UK government and joined the war. this caused italy to lose their new iraq and kuweit puppets, and captured territory all the way to suez. during the winter years of 1941 when japan was still sitting idle because of entire allied battle brigades deployed in the asian theatre, and lack of USA activity. A cry was heard from germany. "WHERE DID STALIN GET SO MANY DAMN MEN!" So japanese high command in hopes of their survival put their best strategists to work on devising a plan for german destruction. Emperor Tojo himself was the mastermind behind the plan. The attack if able to pull off quickly would have destroyed some 100 soviet divisions. To japan's woe this did not happen because of soviet redployments, but was able to be done a short time later in the game for the surrounding of 42 divisions. This surround coupled with a few smaller ones in the south led to Soviet Bitter Peace, and the entrance of the Japanese Tiger as a superpower into the world. Japs have swiftly made rapid progress with many allied losses. the 12 day invasion of guam has given us we think the most elite general in the world. Lt. general with a skill of 7 traits include: defensive doctrine, offensive doctrine, trickster, and engineer. Also a Field Marshal of Skill 4, and a few skill 5 generals, and many lt generals with skill 5.

Quote:
Fleet Sunk at Guam!
December 15th, 1942
Canadian Press

War broke out in the Pacific while Prime Minister William Lyon MacKenzie King was engaged in a diplomatic mission to the USSR. Amid accusations from Molotov the new General Secretary of the CPSU that "the Allies did nothing for the Soviet Union when it was in its greatest need", King was attempting to patch up relation between the Western powers and their erstwhile ally the USSR. The Prime Minister's observational trip to the Chinese mountains to examine the front lines where the USSR is continuing its war against Nationalist China, in aid of its ally Communist China, was cut short. He arrived back in Ottawa to hear outraged accusations from Her Majesty's loyal opposition that the Canadian navy had been "sorely used by the great powers" in the battle for Guam.

The leader of the opposition said that "...from the Boer War, right on through Vimy Ridge and Gallipoli, and even today it seems, commonwealth and colonial soldiers have taken the brunt of the suffering of the slip-shod designs of the great powers." Regarding the incidents off the coast of Guam, he added that "it has been said that Breaker Morant was 'butchered to make a Dutch man's holiday', at the end of the Boer War, and in this case it could be said that the pride of the Canadian Navy has just so been butchered to make a Japanese one."

In response MacKenzie King applauded "the sacrifice of the Canadian Navy sailors, and their patriotism", but conceded that "a Royal Commission should be convened to investigate the incident for the sake of the berieved families". A local hooligan threw a tomato at the Prime Minster and shouted "No retreat?" from the House of Parliment observation deck but was quickly arrested.

For a straighforward copy over zip version go here: Goerings Delay -- NZQS -- 1.3b.rar

The Mod can also be set up with the Jones Generic Mod Enabler and has worked fine in that mode in my tests. This version has everything in it, 1.3beta, JSGME and the East is Red patch, and can be installed straight to your Armageddon 1.2 (ZBLV) folder without disrupting vanilla at all. It has the 1.3beta exe update and JGSME Mod system right in it. Just unzip to your main doomsday folder, copy the contents of the folder, then past into the main folder, then enable the mod using the JSGME system. Once you execute the JSGME it is pretty self-explanatory: EIR NZQS --ARMA 1.3beta complete 1.3b

Small patch from XTPS or NZQS 1.2 to NZQS 1.3b: Goering EIR -- Patch 1.3b

It would be a dangerous folly for the British people to underrate the enduring position in world history which Mussolini will hold; or the amazing qualities of courage, comprehension, self-control and perseverance which he exemplifies.

If attached picture is bigger than 250kB (IIRC), it's attached as link. Dunno why, but your picture is 4247x2557px which makes is big. If you resize it to something fitting one's screen (about 1000px wide), it'll be fragment of original size. Like this.

I thought that is what I did say?

I'd kind of like to get some resolution on the issue regarding shore bombardment and subs, I made a note of it in the issues thread and it would be cool to come to some kind of agreement. Thread is here: Issues
